One of April Cedillo's most enjoyable assignments is interpreting with a group of top interpreters at the Miss Universe pageant. It is held in a different country yearly, allowing her the pleasure of making international friends and travel to other countries. While interpreting at the pageant, the interpreters enjoy behind the scenes access as they assist with the contestant's language needs during rehearsals, contestant judging, directing, editing, final rehearsals, and as they go live to the on air Miss Universe pageant.
